Subject: Voting for Configuration & Persistency Service (C&PS) to be an independent project

All,

Today at the TSC call, the Configuration & Persistency Service (C&PS) team presented (for the third time) the project proposal to the TSC to be an independent project in R8 Honolulu release. We presented also outcomes of the PoC done in R7. The link to the TSC call is at: https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/TSC+2020-10-01 … which has the recording and C&PS slides. Responses to questions from TSC members are answered on Slide #17

The slides & meeting recording can also be found on the C&PS project proposal page: https://wiki.onap.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=71834216#ConfigurationPersistencyServiceProjectProposal(Oct252019)-TSCAPPROVAL

The C&PS project wiki page can be found at: https://wiki.onap.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=81406119

Per Catherine’s request, I am issuing TSC-vote to vote for C&PS to be an independent project based on the material, recording and information presented at the TSC. If you were not able to attend the call, you can review the material and listen to the recording at the above two links. The PTL election for C&PS is discussed on Fri Oct 2, but tentatively Toine Siebelink will be the PTL.

VOTE: For C&PS project to be an independent project

RESPOND: Please respond with +1 YES / -1 NO (and describe why not?) / 0 = No Opinion

DEADLINE: Deadline is October 12, 2020 for final decision.
